The idea behind the shields began as a fascination with Viking culture, art, and craftsmanship—and soon grew into a dream of creating something myself that carries their legacy forward, with a modern twist. Today, Forgeheim is my personal workshop, where I build Viking shields from scratch, primarily using them as a canvas for art. Each shield is unique and gains its own soul through personality, details, and the careful work I put into it.

This is my way of combining traditional expressions from the Viking Age with modern techniques and materials to create shields that are not only beautiful to look at, but also durable and functional. Whether you want to hang a shield on the wall, use it for reenactment, or carry it as part of your own story, my goal is for every creation to feel personal, powerful, and timeless.
